WELCOME BACK! 

HELLO 2012! BCHA would like to welcome everyone back and we hope you are ready for another GREAT year. We started off the year off with our 2011 Awards Banquet on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at the Banks Co Park & Rec Building.

Our new show schedule dates and meeting dates have been posted on our Calendar of Events. We appreciate everyone's support and look forward to this year! We have just added something new to our site, the BCHA Points. These can be found on the Documents & Points page at the bottom of the page. It is in a PDF file so you will need Adobe.

Bring your family and come out and enjoy!

We actively encourage youth participation at our shows and have a wide range of classes for the kids. But let's not forget the adults, we have plenty of classes for them too. We have added a few new classes this past year that are for children and adults with "special needs".  These "adaptive" classes allow these individuals to come out and ride their horses and SMILE. Those that participated last year did a great job and we encouage them to keep on riding and having a good time. 

The Banks County Horse Association members are active participants in the community. This past year club members donated a Sunday afternoon to put on a "Mock Horse Judging Show" to help benefit the local 4 H and FFA Horse Judging Teams. The Banks Co 4H Team practiced this day and then went on to their state competion and did an excellent job!

The club will be having it's annual 4H & FFA Mock Horse Judging Event again on Sunday, April 22nd. Look at the Calendar of Events for more information. 

The club will also be putting on a June show with donations going to the Banks County Relay for Life.

And then throughout the year the club will be taking donations up for the Alzheimer's Cause. These are all wonderful causes and we hope to be able to continue helping with these programs.

Club members paid a special visit to the Banks County Primary School on Farm Day and provided FUN hay rides for all the kids.
